Abstract
We demonstrate a polarization diversity scheme using fiber polarization splitters for 4×4 Si-wire optical switch. Path-independent on-chip loss of 4.8±0.5 dB and crosstalk of less than -30 dB are achieved with PDL below 1 dB.
