A VIOLÊNCIA SEXUAL CONTRA CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES: REFLEXOS DA PANDEMIA

Abstract

This Course Conclusion Paper aimed to study the role of the Mangabeira Guardianship Council in cases of sexual abuse against children and adolescents. The Guardianship Council is an innovation that emerged through the Statute of the Child and Adolescent, being one of the components of the System of Guarantee of Rights. This is structured in three axes, defense, promotion and inspection. This system consists of articulating actions and policies aimed at protecting and guaranteeing the rights of children and adolescents. The general objective will be to analyze the actions of the Tutelary Council of Mangabeira - João Pessoa. It is to know the reality and to identify the difficulties of intervention of the Tutelary Council of Mangabeira in the attendance of the cases of sexual violence against children and adolescents. Qualitative approaches were used to carry out the research. The interview based on visits to the board, which was used as an instrument for data collection, as well as documentary analysis. Interviews were held: with a counselor of the Council of Mangabeira. This study shows the conditions of physical, material and human resources structures for the functioning of the Mangabeira Guardianship Council, the referrals and procedures performed by this Guardianship Council regarding cases of sexual abuse against children and adolescents. A violência sexual é compreendida como a utilização forçada de atividades relacionadas a prática sexual em detrimento dos direitos do outro. Assim ela pode acontecer de várias formas como demonstra Faleiros (2008, p.39): à ao processo de desenvolvimento físico, psicológico, moral, sexual sadio e à proteção integral. A violência sexual no âmbito familiar é uma violação ao direito à sexualidade segura e à familiar protetora.
