Abstract

The prayer (collection) „Deus qui dedisti legem Moysi...” is an interesting phenomenon in offices of St. Catherine of Alexandria. There is no one universal version of this prayer (like there is, for example, “Pater noster”). The author of this article divided the text of the collection into eleven elements (phrases). Almost all phrases can be shaped differently. Some of them are characteristic – they may indicate the provenance of a liturgical book.
