DIFFERENT INTERPRETATIONS IN THE QURAN INTERPRETATION: THE EXAMPLE OF MUHSIN DEMIRCI

Abstract

The Quran, from its revelation to the present day, is the final divine scripture that people have made efforts to understand and interpret, and many works have been written on this subject. As a result of these studies, a considerable corpus has been formed. When evaluated objectively, this corpus will provide correct results in understanding and interpreting the Quran. In this study, we will examine Prof. Dr. Muhsin Demirci's work "Kur’ân Tefsirinde Farklı Yorumlar/ Tespitler-Değerlendirmeler". In the work, which evaluates the disputed verses, we will try to reveal the author's contemporary interpretation style and contributions to the science of exegesis.
