Developing and Deploying Parametric Cost Estimating Systems with PCM/Designer™ and PCM/Estimator™

Abstract

Abstract Companies develop proprietary parametric cost models because they have specific estimating needs that cannot be met using commercial cost models. PCM/Designer™ and PCM/Estimator™ are an integrated set of Windows-based software programs from NHYSOFT, Inc., that are designed to facilitate the development and use of parametric cost estimating systems. PCM/Designer is used to design, validate, and document parametric cost models, and PCM/Estimator is used to generate cost estimates with PCM/Designer cost models.
