Abstract

The article analyzes the current state of the population’s beef supply. A low proportion of beef breeds of cattle in the formation of beef food resources was revealed. It is shown that the economic indicators of animals in the cultivation and fattening of beef cattle breeds are significantly higher than similar indicators for dairy cattle breeds.
