Abstract

A monitoring system for the power waveform of rapid cycle synchrotron(RCS) based on TCP/IP and multi-thread technology was designed and realized in this paper. The scheme of the system is introduced and a local area network (LAN)based system is realized in VC++6.0 environment. TCP/IP as the most popular network communication protocol, can achieve data transmissions conveniently on LAN. Traditional single-threading technique, a single thread exclusively gets the control of CPU, has low efficiency in that the transmission and display of power waveform data is not synchronized.
