Abstract

Jonas Bens (Dr. phil., Dipl.-Jur.) is postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology and the Collaborative Research Centre “Affective Societies” (DFG-SFB 1171) at Freie Universität Berlin. He specializes in political and legal anthropology. His latest book publications include Gerechtigkeitsgefühle: Zur affektiven und emotionalen Legitimität von Normen (transcript, 2017) and the forthcoming The Indigenous Paradox: Rights, Sovereignty and Culture in the Americas (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2020).
