Research status and prospect of LNG inland waterway transportation safety in China

Abstract

In order to help relevant researchers understand the current situation and development trend of inland LNG transportation in China, this paper reviews the development of two main modes of domestic LNG water transportation, packaging transportation and bulk transportation, and introduces the research progress and safety research results of LNG ship safety and LNG tank transportation pilot work with reference to relevant literature. The research results show that the demand for LNG is increasing day by day, In the future, a variety of inland LNG transportation chains will coexist, mainly LNG storage tank transportation, supplemented by small and medium-sized LNG carriers.
