Abstract

We solved the problem of propagation of plane waves in an artificial gradient chiral medium with an anisotropic chirality coefficient. We studied changes in the polarization vector of a normal wave, especially in the vicinity of the bifurcation point. The computational experiment proved that by varying the gradient parameters of a smoothly anisotropic meta-environment, it is possible to synthesize frequency-polarization-selective filters and polarization converters controlled by the given quality criterion.
