The research of investment and financing of wind power

Abstract

Wind power, being a renewable energy, can contribute to the energy mix and environment, and thus, is favorable for sustainable development. Most countries in the world encourage wind power industry development, and are actively exploring investing and financing in it. China has made greater progress in building up wind power capacity in recent years. The government has carried out some demonstration projects along with certain preferable policies specifically for intensified input on renewable energy development. In this journal, the policies of different countries lead to investing and financing in the wind power industry are stated first. Second, the development of Chinese wind power industry is introduced. Then, the methods of investing and financing in China's wind power industry are analyzed. Finally, suggestions for investing and financing in wind power are developed and issues that investors might meet are mentioned at the end.
