Abstract

The paper focuses on the results of modeling electric drive with switched reluctance motor. The model is based on linearized representation of motor phase flux changing. Motor saturation is taken into account. Operating model algorithm is described. The model was tested with a simple control system designed with hysteresis current controller. The transients were examined, the power balance tests were performed. The results proved sufficient accuracy of the drive testing and confirmed the possibility of using the model in educational process.
