Instead of six switch VSI (Voltage Source Inverter), four switch VSI is employed, where cost saving is accomplished by decreasing the number of inverter power switches. Abstract

Solar based water pumping system is getting a broad consideration, since solar energy is found to be the best solution for the existing conventional energy resources. Moreover solar PV (Photovoltaic) fed water pumping is favored technique within the remote regions for different applications.
