Abstract
As of 2020, Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement is not wide spread enough in Bulgaria and due to the limited number of procedures implemented, no detailed and analytical review of rehabilitation opportunities have been carried out. This case study describes and reviews the postoperative case history of a patient of ours who underwent surgery in Germany. We have presented indications for undertaking this type of surgery, characteristics of the clinical case, specifics and possible complications, as well as the applied physiotherapy protocol. We have described physiotherapy procedures implemented after functional status testing. We have reviewed indications, contraindications; we have recommended guidelines based on clinical experience with the patient described. We have examined functional opportunities and pain level three times after recovery.
