Potensi Pengembangan Wisata Halal Dalam Meningkatkan Ekonomi Masyarakat (Studi Objek: Wisata Pantai Biru Desa Telaga Biru Kecamatan Tanjung Bumi)

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether Blue Beach tourism is included in the criteria for halal tourism and to determine the impact of the existence of Blue Beach Tourism on the welfare of the community in Telaga Biru Village, Tanjung Bumi District, Bangkalan Regency with qualitative research methods. Indonesia is a country with the highest Muslim population in the world. This makes Indonesia develop the concept of halal tourism. In preparing for halal tourism in Indonesia, the government through the Ministry of Tourism has appointed several provinces as halal tourism destinations. One of them is East Java. Madura Island located in the northeast of East Java has great potential in the development of tourism objects. One of the tours that will be investigated in this research is Blue Beach Tourism. Blue Beach has a halal tourism concept even though it does not yet have an official halal tourism certification. Most of these tours have met the criteria for halal tourism. The impact of the Blue Beach tourism includes opening up new jobs for the people of Telaga Biru Village, and every family in the village is entitled to get basic necessities every month, besides that, children who excel in Madrasah schools also receive educational allowances in the form of money, and reduce unemployment in Telaga Biru Village.
