In contrast to dithiaden, dithiadenoxide exerts a demonstrable inhibitory action as much as the subtoxic or sublethal dosage in experiments in mice and rats. Its acute toxicity in mice and guinea-pigs substantially decreases; acute toxicological findings in rats are not unambiguous.
