Abstract

The stability of equilibrium point is an essential problem to be considered in the study of power network system, a small fault in the system may lead to collapse of the power grid. This paper makes a detailed theoretical supplement to the stability analysis of the equilibrium point of the power network model proposed by Yang and Motter. We introduce noise and time delay that may exist in actual power network system, and study the stability of the equilibrium point of the power network model with noise and time delay. Besides, this paper improves the transmission line model of the power network model to make it closer to modern intelligent grid. Finally, a numerical simulation of a 7-bus power network system is carried out to further verify the stability of the equilibrium point of the power network with time delay and noise in this paper.
