Abstract

This paper presents a robust multiuser detection technique to combat multiple access interference (MAI) and impulsive noise for synchronous code-division multiple-access (CDMA) communication systems in the presence of signature uncertainties. A new M-estimator (modified Hampel) proposed to robustify the detector is studied and analyzed.
