Abstract

This paper presents experimental data of material loss and dielectric properties for a multilayer LTCC substrate using /spl lambda//4 resonators. Q values comparison has been made between traditional balanced stripline resonators and unbalanced stripline resonators in this substrate. Relation between conductor loss and resonator geometry in this substrate is presented. We demonstrate that LTCC can be a high performance substrate for future personal communication system applications.
