Abstract

Recently ultrasonic welding technique becomes much more popular process in design and engineering manufacturing, covering a wide range of the application for metals and materials. Although, a wide range of application is increased by this technique. The needed for an optimised horn and improved understanding of the mechanisms of ultrasonic welding remain the primary demands of industry, to resolve several issues that encountered during welding operation. Such as bad tool design, stick of the tool/part, part marking, lack of weld strength and quality.
