In order to avoid light load and overload problems caused by the peak/trough of power load, and to improve the power factor and operation efficiency of power transformers, the four-quadrant operation characteristics of energy storage PCS are utilized to realize active/reactive power compensation of power transformer. At the same time, it has the function of emergency power supply to prevent the power failure caused by transformer maintenance. Abstract
