Abstract
Computational design of a symmetric antenna system for wireless power transmission is proposed. The pair of antennas, which consist of small conductive segments, provides the two-port circuit of which ports are feeding points of the antennas. The two-port parameters of this circuit, which are obtained using the method of moments, and the complex impedance of both the power generating and loading circuits enable calculation of the power transmission efficiency. Repetition of the random generation of the segments and numerical calculation of the efficiency provides the antenna design. The numerical results of an example antenna system indicate that the efficiency strongly depends on the value of the real part of the impedance; therefore, precise control of this value is required to maintain better power transmission efficiency.
