Expanding lua interface to support HTTP/HTTPS protocol

Abstract

Lua API does not contain functions needed for executing HTTP/HTTPS requests. This paper deals with the implementation of support of HTTP/HTTPS protocol for Lua interface. Aim of this work is the extension of Lua API for support of synchronous and asynchronous HTTP requests. This is achieved using C++ programming language and cURL open source library.
