BURYAT FOLK SONGS IN THE MANUSCRIPT OF THE CHRONICLER DASHA BUBEEV

Abstract

. For the first time, the article publishes Buryat songs from a previously unknown manuscript of the Buryat chronicler Dasha Bubeev «Brief historical notes, stories and songs about the Buryat usurers and noyons» (Buriyad ulus-yin urda-yin bayad noyad tuqai üge-nüüd ba daγun-uud-un tobči tedüi teüke amui) from the Mongolian fund of the Center for Oriental Manuscripts and Xylographs of the IMBT SB RAS. The manuscript consists of two parts: stories about some rich people of the Aginsk steppes, and short Buryat folk songs. This article reveals the content of the second part of the manuscript, gives a brief description of the source.
