The fault has been induced in the hardware setup of the motor. The parameters of the motor in question have been calculated with the help of blocked rotor and no-load tests. The stator current signature of each phase has been recorded and then analyzed using Fast Fourier Transform and Discrete Wavelet Transform. The results obtained can be used to detect the fault in real time. Abstract
