Abstract

Wind farm clutter can negatively affect Air Traffic Control and air defence radar systems by obscuring true targets and by generating non-stationary clutter which increases the probability of false alarm. Bistatic and multistatic radar may mitigate these effects thanks to reduced clutter radar cross section and Doppler spread with respect to conventional monostatic systems.
