Abstract

The object of this work is to study and simulate the effect of integration of a layer of micro-encapsulated PCM (modified PCM materials / concrete can be considered as two-phase materials made up of reference concrete and particles. PCM) on the thermal behavior of a building and improve the thermal inertia of the ceiling of a building. This work relates to a numerical study based on the nodal method to predict the effect of the integration of a layer of PCM on the thermal behavior as well as on the reduction of energy consumption for the summer and winter period associated with the building to composite envelope.
