When developing the criteria, phase voltages and currents calculated at the beginning of the line were used. An analysis of changes in these parameters has been made, with the place of the fault initiation being moved. Interpolating functions have been developed that make it pos-sible to calculate the location of damage and the error in determining the location of damage. The calculations con-firmed the criteria accuracy for any parameters of the 35-10-6 kV network. Abstract
The article is devoted to the issue of detecting the fault location in 35-10-6 kV power distribution networks according to the criteria obtained which are individual for each type of damage.
