Abstract

This study pursues to control a Buck-Boost converter with an optimal-robust linear matrix inequalities (LMI)-based method, which has been discussed on previous works, but this work focus on this versatile converter, which can operate as a step-up or step-down converter. Then, it is compared to a con-ventional optimal control technique, known as linear quadratic regulator (LQR) method, showing that the previous can handle uncertainty on its parameters where the latter may not.
