Abstract
By mismatching rear-end electrode impedance of a silicon p-i-n MZI modulator to 68 Ω with on-chip-resistor, the allowable encoding NRZ-OOK data rate greatly increases beyond 60 Gbit/s after performing waveform pre-emphasis.
