Abstract

Recognizing the strong engineering contents of software development it was felt that communication and dissemination of well-proven, industrial strength experience, of ’state-of-the-art’ proven methods and best practices is also a strong need of the software industry. The European Commission always stressed this aspect in its Framework Programmes [1] [2], requiring ’dissemination actions’ as an important return on the commissions investment in projects.
