Abstract

Traditional dual-frequency FSS based on double-hexagonal-ring is difficult to remove the grating lobes. To solve this problem, a novel dual-band FSS is proposed. The frequency response characteristics of the FSS for different polarizations and different incident angles are simulated. The results show that the novel FSS has good angle stability and polarization stability. The parasitic resonance is also eliminated. The novel dual-band FSS has great practical value in the fields of satellite communications.
