Abstract
We present the design and simulation of a DOA system composed by a novel 2D stacked Luneburg lens and an antenna array. The non-resonant lens is composed of 7 layers of a dual-diameter structure. The variation in the refraction index is achieved by adding cylindrical air inclusions in a dielectric base material. The results demonstrate that the design is suitable in direction finding applications.
