Integrating Block Chain with Social Network & Tracking False Information: Challenges and Open Issues

Abstract

The block chain has become the next cyber security revolution. The integration of block chain with social network is an effective way to resolve many issues. The huge amount of user’s data available on social network can be protected by integrating block chain with the information system governing the social network. As social network gains more publicity on both client-server and peer-to-peer network to provide information in a more dynamic and distributed manner, so it would be beneficial for us to take its security seriously. This paper provides an overview of integration of block chain into the social network by highlighting the integration benefits and implementation challenges. Discussion will also focus on how to track the culprit (origin) responsible for spreading the false information that is a bigger challenge we face today.
