Research of Web Services based on GIS in the mobile catering service

Abstract

This paper analyzes the current situation of the catering industry in the information technology in China, demonstrates of the current “Wireless Ordering System” in the lack of information technology services, proposes the “mobile catering systems” solution in use of both Web Services and Mobile Internet technologies, and deeply discusses the core idea, the overall architecture and implementation techniques of GIS-based catering information service platform. The Mobile Catering service system is service-oriented architecture, apply SVG, J2EE, J2ME, WAP and other technologies to successfully build the catering industry information service platform, overcome the drawbacks of the traditional catering service system, for consumers anytime, anywhere, gain the latest and most complete dining information, convenient and pleasant to experience the service
