Abstract
This paper introduces a new ion transport system for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), consisting of a lens mechanical system, hardware control system, and host computer software control system. It allows the upper computer software to send data to the ARM microcontroller through the CAN bus, to control the DA chip to adjust the voltage of the high-voltage power supply. The high-voltage signal is then reduced by an equal proportion to adjust the voltage value of the load on the lens. By changing the positive and negative voltage and the size of the voltage on each lens, the screening function of charged ions and neutral particles after passing the lens is realized. At the same time, different voltage adjustments can meet different ion screening conditions, and improve the instrument’s detection sensitivity and ion transmission efficiency.
