The vibration caused by rotor wear is a main factor leading to the failure of centrifugal compressor. Therefore, a method to evaluate the reliability of compressor by monitoring the vibration signal of compressor rotor is proposed. First, the vibration signal of the compressor rotor is collected through the vibration sensor and preprocessed; Second, empirical mode decomposition is carried out, which decomposes the vibration signal into intrinsic mode function components; Third, the information entropy of intrinsic mode function components is calculated; Fourth, the health degree is calculated.
