Fabrication and characterization of a negative-index photonic metamaterial with three functional layers

Abstract

We report on the fabrication and characterization of negative-index photonic metamaterials with up to three functional layers. The effective material properties of the photonic metamaterials do not change significantly with the number of functional layers.
