This paper should be considered as a contribution to the efforts of those who are struggling with the validity issues in SNA. The intention of the work is to build a checklist that can be used to check the validity of the data, methods, and algorithms for transdisciplinary research teams who utilize theory of networks in general and SNA in particular in a particular domain, which is an educational system for the focus of this research. Abstract

This research adopts a complex system approach to linked data, which has a trace aspect and to examine validation issues in linked data driven IS research.
