Application of the Multifactor Quantitative Method for Determination of Customs Value of Goods

Abstract

The article proposes a method for determining the customs value of imported goods using the method of multi-subject multifactor evaluation through group expertise. The idea is to minimize subjectivity in evaluation. The characteristic of the proposed approach is that the influence of the assessment of an expert depends on the level of his competence. For quantitative ranking of individual competence, an anonymous assessment is performed through comparisons of experts in pairs. The method guarantees higher adequacy of the final assessment, which guarantees a better decision.
