Abstract

In this paper a generalized eigenvalue approach is used for comparing the maximum achievable performance of an inductive wireless power transfer link using a single transmitter with that of a link using two transmitters. The specific case of a system intended for recharging a medical implant and having the receiver interposed between the transmitters is analyzed and discussed.
