Abstract

The creation of new knowledge gives rise to opportunities to convert inventions into innovations. Technology based entrepreneurship is concerned with the recognition, evaluation and exploitation of technological opportunities available in the knowledge base. In that sense, technology based entrepreneurship may be seen as a dasiaconduitpsila for knowledge spillovers occurring through the successful commercialization of new technology based products and services.
