Abstract

Covid-19 Pandemic continues to spread and a lot of techniques have already been used to help confine it. One of the measures, that has been proven of some efficiency is the use of mobile tracking apps. These apps are addressing the unmet needs of healthcare and public health system, including contact tracing, health information dissemination, symptom checking and providing tools for training healthcare providers. In this paper we are presenting an application that focuses on basic smartphone’s sensors in order to provide information to users about areas of high risk and their corresponding heatmaps and an indoor positioning system using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, as a form of contact tracing for covid patients.
