Abstract

this article shows that there is a need to improve mathematical models of an asynchronous motor to establish new or clarify existing relationships between the diagnostic feature and the diagnosed defect. A mathematical model of an asynchronous motor in relation to a pumping unit is presented. Based on the mathematical model, a simulation model was developed and simulation was performed in the Simulink/Matlab computer mathematics environment. We found out that it is possible to simulate the operation of an asynchronous motor with different degrees of rotor damage based the proposed simulation model of an asynchronous motor with a pumping unit.
