In order to simulate the real network architecture, this study used Python, Scapy, and GNS3 to investigate the impact of DHCP flooding and Rouge DHCP on the network. This paper proposes a way to detect the DHCP Starvation attack in any network using the Offer packet of the DHCP itself.
