This paper proposes the creation of Myanmar sentiment lexicon for food and restaurant domain and analyses the Myanmar text reviews of customers using lexicon-based sentiment analysis for the recommendation. To our knowledge, this is the first work for sentiment analysis of Myanmar text comments. The first challenge is the absence of annotated data and sentiment lexicons.
