Abstract

The article provides an analysis of the progress in the implementation of measures for economic zoning, taking into account the emergence of federal districts, the development and implementation of the Strategy for the socio-economic development of the North-West. The role of the North-West as an emerging macro-region is determined on the basis of factors influencing the complex development of the territory.
