In the present work, a S-Band MILO has been designed with voltage 180kV, current 35kA at frequency 2.6 GHz. It was composed of four cavities acting as slow wave structure, one extractor and three choke cavities. Abstract

Magnetically Insulated Line Oscillator (MILO) is a relatively new type of coaxial crossed field electron beam device designed specifically to generate microwave power at the gigawatt level.
