Abstract

The software packages Schematics from MicroSim Corp. and PADS-PERFORM from PADS Software Inc. have been interfaced to give students an integrated environment where they can create schematics for documentation, simulate circuits, and design printed circuit boards. The software packages are available in evaluation versions. The circuits are limited to approximately 25 components but this is not a limitation for undergraduate projects.
