Abstract

In this paper, linear scalable dispersion (LSD) code is investigated for multiple input multiple output multi-carrier code division multiple access (MIMO MC-CDMA) systems. The code already introduced in MIMO systems is extended to the MC-CDMA downlink transmission. It provides a flexible compromise between diversity and spatial multiplexing in Rayleigh and Ricean fading channels; therefore, it realizes high transmission rate while benefiting from transmit diversity.
